Any date not coloured green has an event listed. Click on it to see what. Depending on what browser you are using, when you first view a month you may have to click a highlighted date twice to see what is ‘booked.’ To enter an event navigate to the correct month (it opens with ‘today's’ date) using the "next month" and "previous month" buttons, click the date for your event then click "new event" and follow your nose. More than one event can appear on any given date. For event details to be visible to others ensure you click the "SUBMIT" button AND the "SAVE DATA" button. If you make a mistake, use the "edit " and "delete" functions. Please DO NOT edit or delete anything you yourself have not posted! It is MOST UNLIKELY that this calendar shows everything happening in Nynehead! Please check other sections of the website - such as the Church, History or Garden Societies etc - for things that may be of interest to you that may not be listed here. Enjoy!
For reasons too tedious to go into, and depending on what browser you use, data you enter may not be visible to you if you leave this page then return to it without first closing your browser - but it will be visible to everyone else, and to you the next time you start your browser. The Calendar works best with Internet Explorer 7. You can enter data using Firefox, and it is correctly stored in the .xml file, but for some mysterious reason Firefox will not see it on returning to the page but IE7 will! Whereas data entered using IE7 will be visible using either IE or Firefox. It's beyond me! If it is not beyond you, do tell! IE7 has its own little quirks; when you first open this page, you must click on any highlighted date TWICE to see the text entry for that date. Thereafter only one click is needed. If the page behaves differently for you, please let me know.
